Though Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is only a few months away from being launched, another upcoming flagship phone from the Korean giant has been reported to be released in March 2017. The said top-tier phone will be launched with a 5.5-inch 4K display resolution.
Though official specifications are still far from being confirmed, these are the two glaring information being reported by several sources. For its release date, it was speculated to be launched in March 2017 based on the previous schedules of its predecessors. Since the last four Galaxy S models had been released between the months of March and April, the next from the S series is highly possible to be launched during the same period, Fabnewz reported.
Aside from its release date, the report also noted other possible features which may be present on the S8. Same with the Note 7, the S8 will have an improved security by utilizing a more efficient eye scanning technology which would only take minimal time in registering the user's retina information.
Rapid charging will also be likely for the S8 since majority of mobile devices are now adapting the said feature. This would allow the phone to fully charge itself in only 20 minutes.
In terms of specifications, the S8 sporting a 5.5-inch 4K UHD is also likely. According to a research firm, the Samsung Galaxy S8 showcased a 5.5-inch UHD 4K display with a pixel density of 806 ppi in a display trade show in California, Korea Herald reported.
Since the VR technology is rapidly being adapted nowadays, mobile manufacturers have an impending need to pair up with its display specifications in order to provide better VR playing experience with its users. Now that majority of manufacturers are also making their own VR headsets, the requirement to come up with a device offering a high resolution may be imminent.
Since the device is still a year away from its release, readers are advised to take everything with a pinch of salt as major changes may be made in the coming months.
