Japanese video game developer and publisher Capcom has recently announced that it will unveil the biggest beta release in franchise history in the form of "Street Fight V." The company added that Charlie Nash will be part of the upcoming title's roster of playable characters.

The beta version of "Street Fighter V" will be released on the PC and PlayStation 4 platform. Capcom has yet to announce whether they are planning to port the game into the Xbox One or other platform like handheld and mobile devices.

Capcom's aim in releasing the beta version of "Street Fighter V" is to collect various user feedback in order to "ensure that Street Fighter V is the best iteration" of the franchise.

Capcom community manager Peter Rosas posted on his personal Twitter account saying that North American gamers who will pre-order the game will be given the chance to play the game's online beta version. Additional details will be added soon he added.

Rosas also confirmed the comeback of one of the game's most beloved character, Charlie Nash. Based on the video teaser posted on the official "Street Fighter" YouTube account, Nash looks completely different compared to its previous incarnations. Capcom also added some interesting and new moves to the character.

Nash first appeared in the "Street Fighter II: The World Warrior" released in 1991.

Additionally, at the last part of the video, some people noticed the brief appearance of M. Bison which led to speculation that the Shandaloo boss might be the next character to be revealed.

Capcom did not provide an exact date when the beta will be released and how for long the beta-testing phase will run, according to PCMag.
