One of the most anticipated movies from the director Derek Cianfrance ''The Light Between Oceans'' will release in cinemas on Sep. 2, 2016 in the US. The role of Tom Sherbourne will be played by Michael Fassbender.
This movie casts the real life lovers Fassbender and Alicia Vikander and is expected to do very well in the box office. According to moviegeeks, there are passes to be won for the screening of the upcoming movie.
The ensemble cast comprises of Oscar winner Vikander as Isabel Sherbourne (plays the role of Michael Fassbender's wife in the movie) and Golden Globe winner Rachel Weisz as Hannah Roennfeldt. The plot of the movie revolves around the story of Mr. Sherbourne, who is a lighthouse keeper and lives in the coast in Western Australia along with his wife. The couple had a peaceful life until one day they rescued a baby girl and started raising her as their own daughter. They knew that the baby had survived an accident on the sea in which her entire family was washed off. They buried her father and kept the baby without going through the legal hassles of adoption.
The child was named as Lucy (played by Elliot and Evangeline Newbery as baby Lucy and Caren Pistorius as adult Lucy) and she started growing up with the couple. However, later a woman appeared in the life of the couple named as Hannah Roennfeldt (played by Weisz) and she started questioning the couple about their daughter Lucy. The fans of the stars can go to the cinemas to watch the complete movie once it is released.
According to Irish Central, this movie is worth watching. The cinematography will leave the viewers spell bound and the beautiful scenic beauty of Australian sea-shore is captured in its true colors. The movie has a slow pace and unfurls the story of a family which appears close to a real-life story. Since Mrs. Sherbourne had two miscarriages in the movie, and had given birth to a stillborn, her maternal instincts were clearly depicted in the movie.
The author also has predicted about the possibility of another Oscar nomination for Vikander through this movie. This movie will be released in the UK on Nov. 4, 2016. Watch the trailer of the upcoming movie here.
