Jeremy Lin busts a move in rare music video with Jay Chou

Jeremy Lin shows off his dance moves in a music video opposite Taiwanese celebrity Jay Chou.

Jeremy Lin is best known for playing ball but his fame has just moved up a notch after appearing in a music video alongside Jay Chou. Lin showed off some decent dance moves with the same guy who appeared as “Kato” on “The Green Hornet”.

Jeremy Lin seemed pretty comfortable showing off his dance moves, appearing lengthily in the video. While the video was centered on Chou, Lin offered his fans another special talent which could open up future possibilities in show business.

Chou didn’t exactly make a good impression portraying “Kato” in the film opposite Seth Rogen back in 2011. But like Lin, Chou turns out to be the Justin Timberlake of Taiwan, NBC reported.

The video offers a light moment for Lin who is expected to have his hands full for the coming NBA season. After struggling the past two years, the 27-year-old was able to redeem himself last season with the Charlotte Hornets as a backup.

That performance eventually drew the interest of several teams and the Nets won out mainly because of several factors. One was that he would be reunited with former coach Kenny Atkinson and the other is that he gets the chance to be a starter.

Lin will be expected to do more than just playing ball for the Nets next season. Inheriting the reigns from previous point guard Jarrett Jack, the American-Asian will need to stand out as a leader which he embraces with open arms, the Daily News reported.

Lin is returning to New York with big expectations, following his stint in 2012 which is best known as the “Linsanity” years. His fortunes spiraled since then and now he gets the chance to revive all that following failed stints with the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nets CEO Brett Yomark is aware that fans are expecting “Linsanity” to rise once more, the Nets Daily reported. Knowing that Lin is a big name that will haul in the fans, he believes that “Linsanity 2.0” may possibly happen but only if fans want it.

For Yomark, the more important aspect is to see if the Lin-Atkinson tandem will produce for the Nets as the team enters the 2016-17 NBA season with a revamped roster.
