"X Factor" returns this year with a bunch of talents to impress the famous four judges, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh , Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne. One of the talents was 19-year-old model Rosie Mac from Marbella, Spain. The girl not only has the pop star look, but a great singing voice that all the judges agreed to bring her to the next round of the competition.
Mac performed "Streets of London" by Roger Whittaker. With her audition, HBO's multi Emmy-award winning "Game of Thrones" and "X Factor" spaces collided as she is the body double of Emilia Clarke, who portrays the mother of dragons in the HBO fantasy series. Mac appeared as Queen Targaryen in Season 5 and now wishes to win in the "X Factor."
The model was only contracted for Season 5, making followers of the HBO drama worry about the longevity of the Targaryen character. She was only working with the show for six weeks while the cast and crew were filming in Spain.
Mac's "X Factor" audition was excluded from footage because of time constraints, according to Radio Times. However, she may be shown as the show progresses especially if she passed through other phases of the competition. The reality show on ITV airs at 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Meanwhile, there is a theory that the Mother of Dragons may encounter some obstacles on her way to Westeros. This year's Season 6 finale ended with Targaryen and a breathtaking shot of her massive army including the Dothraki, Iron Fleet and the Unsullied.
Things can go wrong along the way with Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek), attacking Targaryen and her fleet while they are at sea. If that happens, many wonder who would die first in Season 7. Greyjoy is believed to do whatever he could to try to get Targaryen's dragons.
Since Greyjoy's people are skilled at sea fighting, Targaryen and his men could be defeated. The worst is, one of them, Greyjoy or Targrayen may face his or her death. It could also be that Greyjoy's nephew, Theon (Alfie Allen) would sacrifice his life for his sister Yara, according to GameNGuide.
Here is a scoop of Mac auditioning for the singing competition.
