If one is trying to lose weight, sacrificing snacks to cut calories is not a good idea, according to Health.

Rania Batayna, a nutritionist and author of "The One One One Diet", said that snacking is an opportunity for everyone to fuel their body between meals. Healthy snacks ensure that dieters will not be ravenous when mealtime comes and would keep up one's fat burning metabolism.

There are different nutritionist-approved snacks, which can be bought in stores and can be made at home. Every nosh packs over 150-200 calories. This is filled with good nutrients and will let dieters enjoy and have fun when dieting.

In terms of weight loss, Prevention reported that snacking can be an essential tool. Having something to eat every few hours can keep one's metabolism humming and blood sugar on an even level. However, eating the same old snacks each day is quite a bad idea as it seems like watching the grass grow.

Eating snacks will not actually ruin one's diet. In fact, it could provide dieters the right nutrients and minerals they need to maintain a healthy body shape.

Anyone can pick a snack for weight loss. One of the known and mostly considered weight loss snacks is Greek yogurt with honey and raspberries. This snack is sweet and creamy, which comes with a combination of healthy fats, protein, and fiber. Also, the Vitamin C found in raspberries increases the fat-burning ability of the body.

Grapes and walnuts are also great snacks for weight loss. The reason behind it is that grapes are very sweet while walnuts are more like a filling. A handful of walnuts and cup of grapes combined together are a good combination of natural fiber, sugars, protein, and healthy fats. All of these provide long-lasting energy, which dieters need when losing weight.
