New "Spider-Man: Homecoming" details and spoilers will feature three Avengers having possible cameos and Silk joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It was during the leaked cast sheet that comic book fans and movie goers found out the cast and characters that will appear in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie. These characters include Flash Thompson, Liz Allen, Ned Leeds, Betty Brant and Shocker.
However, one particular character became the center of attention througout the internet as 17-year-old actress Tiffany Epensen will be playing the role of "Cindy" in "Spider-Man: Homecoming". This led to several speculations and rumors that the name Cindy could be Cindy Moon a.k.a. as Silk in the comics, ComicBook reported.
In the Marvel comics, Cindy Moon is a girl bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his powers abilities. Unlike Peter, Cindy was not able to control her abilities, and was recruited by a man named Ezekiel in order to train her in the use of her powers, while being hidden away from the world.
After being discovered by Spider-Man, she has since returned to the outside world as a superhero, looking to pick up the pieces of her life lost while in isolation. She has similar powers and abilities as Spider-Man, but with a stronger "Spider-sense," organic finger tip web shooters, and a photographic memory.
In other news, three members of the Avengers will likely be making cameo appearances in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".
"Avengers" star Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man alongside fellow cast member Chris Evans. who plays Steve Rogers/Captain America. Both actors hinted that they will be coming back to Atlanta for a shoot teasing the Iron Man and Captain America will meet Spider-Man (Tom Holland) once again in his solo movie.
The third member is reported to be Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) as the official Twitter page of Atlanta Filming tweeted that Johansson was spotted on the set.
Marvel president Kevin Feige revealed a step-by-step process in creating sequels for Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he compared the sequel treatment of the movie to that of "Harry Potter" film series, were Peter will slowly but surely grow into the person he is and as a hero each school year.
If each Spider-Man sequel begins with a new school year, fans would get to follow alongside Peter Parker as he matures and experiences all the good things and bad things that high school has to offer. It will also feature Peter's training as an Avenger guided by the likes of Iron Man, Captain America etc., Screenrant reported.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7, 2017.
