"Game of Thrones" Sophie Turner will transform from a strong queen to a struggling teen soon for her upcoming Indie drama "Huntsville."
The Eric England-helmed flick will be based on Black List script of 2014 prepared by Anthony Ragnone. She will be sharing the screen with "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" star Dylan McDermott and "The Nice Guys" actor Jack Kilmer. The production of the project will commence in September and will be shot in and across Los Angeles.
Waterstone Entertainment's Jeff Kallighero will be producing the Indie project in association with Stephen Bowen alongside Traveling Picture Show Co.'s Kevin Matusow. The names of Carissa Buffel and Steven Chester Prince and Iskin and Leadford alongside Ash Sarohia and John Wunder are also emerging as producers of the drama.
In "Huntsville," GoT's Sansa Stark will play an opposite lead to the protagonist of the drama Han. Where Turner will play a transplanted high school student, the lead will be a solitary man who will be seen in a dull existence in a sleepy town of Florida. The story reveals a twist and proceeds when the two of them involve in a questionable relationship.
With her popularity as the would-be queen of the North in the Game of Thrones, as The Hollywood Reporter stated, Turner also started grabbing attention that took her to several big screen opportunities like other GoT stars. The latest project she appeared in was X-Men: Apocalypses where she played the character of Jean Grey.
The Iskin's Coalition Group presented the 2014 Black List by Ragnone in 2015 at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was displayed with brilliant works like "Boardwalk Empire's" Shea Whigham as well as "The Witch's" Anya Taylor and Joy who role-played the leads in the project. But the project did not work well as the lead actors seemed ineffective.
There have been numerous speculations these days that spread rumors relating to Turner dating Ansel Elgort. However, Life & Style has confirmed that the news was completely untrue and the couple was not dating.
