According to newest reports, iPad Air 3 will release in March 2017 instead of in November 2016.

The possible delay in the release of the Apple device is due to the iPad Pro 9.7-inch tablet. Some reports claim that the Apple may concentrate on launching the next version of the iPad Pro tab called iPad Pro 12.9 instead of the iPad Air 3.

The forthcoming iPad Air tablet will be launched in 2017 with few specifications identical to that of the iPad Pro 9.7, Macworld UK reported. If reports are anything to go by, the Apple tablet will sport an aluminum chassis and will be sleeker.

It is said that the new iPad Air 3 will consist of the forthcoming A10 processor together with force-touch True Tone display identical to the Apple iPad Pro 9.7. It is expected that the new tablet will be made available in the variants of 256 GB, 128 GB and 64 GB.

Rumors are also doing the rounds that the forthcoming tablet will feature the iOS 10 that will provide the owners with improved user interface. Moreover, some reports suggest that the third installment of the Apple iPad Air 3 will include the stereo speakers for improved audio quality.

The iPad Air 3 will reportedly carry a price tag of $599. However, the price may be lower if the company does not use iPad Pro 9.7's True Tone display on the new tablet. If so, the device could be sold at $400.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will give iPad Air 3 a run for its money. The Samsung device will be released on September 2, 2016 during the annual IFA event in Germany. The tech company Samsung will launch an 8-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3 and a bigger 9.7-inch variant.

It is said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will come with a faster processor than its predecessor. The device will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, according to a report from SlashGear.

It is expected that the 8-inch variant will come with a 4000 mAh battery and 32 GB of internal storage and the 9.7-inch option will come with a 5870 mAh battery and 64 GB of internal memory. The two devices will have a 2MP front camera and an 8MP back camera.
