If reports are anything to go by, Apple will release new updates to Mac and iPad lineups.
The Cupertino-based company is developing new features for the iPad together with new Mac desktops and laptops.
It is believed that the software company Apple is working on new Mac devices. These devices will be unveiled before the end of 2016 and include a refreshed iMac, a new MacBook Air in addition to a 5K standalone monitor developed in collaboration with the electronics company LG.
The forthcoming MacBook Air will reportedly come with a USB Type-C port and the new iMac models will support graphics chips from AMD. According to reports, Apple will ship the updated iPad software in 2017.
Furthermore, a slimmer MacBook Pro with a flatter keyboard is in the pipeline. It will feature an OLED display above its keyboard, BGR reported. Here is how it will work.
For instance, if people are on their desktop, the display will show a virtual representation of the normal function row. When in an application, the row will show options particular to the task at hand. The volume controls will also be present.
Recent reports indicate that the tech company will roll out the iPad software features as part of an upgrade to the operating system iOS 10 in the first half of next year.
The iPad update will reportedly include enhancements to the Apple Pencil. Apple Pencil is a drawing and handwriting stylus aimed at professionals.
The Cupertino-based company has considered enabling people to annotate objects in several applications across the whole operating system, including in iMessage, the Safari web browser and Mail. At present, the software company supports Pencil functionality in particularly developed apps.
The iPad hardware will include faster display technology that enables for smoother scrolling, panning and zooming.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Apple will launch a new iPhone next week, The Verge reported. The company will reportedly launch the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 in 2016.
In 2015, Apple launched the iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S during the press event. Speculations are doing the rounds that Apple will launch the iPhone 7 without a headphone jack.
Also, according to several reports, the company will unveil some kind of adapter to support current audio devices and Bluetooth wireless headphones.
