Yesterday, Asus ZenWatch 3 was announced at the tech trade show IFA 2016 in Berlin. It was in rumors that it would feature a round display. The previous models of ZenWatch have square shaped screens. However, the company has replaced the pebble like shape and launched the smartwatch with a stylish round display.

ASUS says that the smartwatch will be available for 229 euros, or roughly $250 USD. The ZenWatch 3 is scheduled to launch in the US and other countries, likely including the UK and Australia, sometime in October, CNet reported.

The ZenWatch 3 has a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen that offers a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels. The smartwatch is measures 9.95 mm in thickness.
It has a gently curved Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the screen layer from scratches. It has a gold trip on its bezel and the round edges are made from jewellery-grade solid 316L stainless steel.
The Asus smartwatch has two crown buttons on its side. There is a third button gives easy access to frequently used programmes and applications.
It comes with 50 unique watch faces and some of which support widgets to give information about weather, measures the number of steps walked, call notifications and battery life. The watch face can be to customized by ZenWatch Manager app on phone.
The ZenWatch 3 is powered by Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor. The smartwatch features native storage of 4GB and with 512MB of RAM.
It offers uniqueness in battery which comes with battery saving features compared to other smartwatches. It comes with a 340 mAh battery that will last for up to two days.
By charging the device for 15 minutes, the ZenWatch 3 can be gain 60 percent power, PhoneArena reported. For heavy users, it comes with a 200 mAh battery pack accessory that can be attached to the rear side of the smartwatch.
The ZenWatch 3 is available in three color variants - Silver, Gunmetal and Rose Gold and has a rose-gold bezel for all three watches. It comes with a choice of leather or rubber straps in dark brown or a lighter beige. The ZenWatch 3 carries a water resistance rating of IP67 a similar feature as with other Android Wear watches.
