Several rumors are making rounds regarding the status of Rock Star Games and Take-Two Interactive's western video game sequel, "Red Dead Redemption 2" as it is speculated that the developers will announce something big this week.

Rockstar Games attended the PlayStation meeting in New York, which fans probably assume that they are talking about the sequel's announcement before the year ends. On top of that, there have been rumors of a leaked photo of "Red Dead Redemption 2", which is called "Red Dead Retribution".

The alleged photo of the sequel was spread throughout the internet as gamer quickly hinted that "Red Dead Redempion" sequel could be in the works very soon.

However, it turns out that the so called "Red Dead Retribution" photo was nothing more than a fake and it was quickly debunked.

There is also anothe speculation that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be ported to the updated PlayStation 4 console, PS4 Neo if Rockstar Games will ever decide to make the sequel official, iTechPost reported.

So far, there have been no comments regarding the possibility of "Red Dead Redemption 2" being a PS4 Neo exclusive.

In other news, Korean gaming site known as GameFocus (via Gamerant) stated that Rockstar Games will announcea HD remastered version of "Red Dead Redemption" this week for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC platforms.

What is more interesting is that "Red Dead Redemption" remastered will likely launch on the early months of 2017.

GameFocus added that the Korean version of "Red Dead Redemption" remastered would also be fully localized in Korean. The original game was not released in Korean, which resulted in copies of the game coming with translation books for the title’s full script in Korean, so that fans in the country could read along with the story as it occurred on-screen.

For now, gaming fans will have to wait for Rockstar Games announcement after the PlayStation Meeting and hopefully they will get answers for "Red Dead Redemption 2" and the HD remastered version of the original game.
