Players into “The Sims 4” continue to long for game improvements and recent leaks revealed two interesting features, toddlers and a “Supernatural” expansion pack. EA was able to explain the leak on the addition of toddlers but yet to tackle the potential Halloween DLC pack.
“The Sims 4” continues to try to find ways in improving the game following its poor sales performance which has altered plenty of things. That includes the fate of “The Sims 5” something that has been technically shelved for now.
Various leaked on new content have been coming out recently though leaked codes pertaining to the possible addition of toddlers cropped up according to Sims Community. Some folks were able to come across old assets though all of that would alter on be explained.
Apparently, the toddler files being tied up to “The Sims 4” were no more than scripts tied up to an abandoned EA project. They were files created by the Sims team for CEO Andrew Wilson, something done in celebration of his newborn. All this was later on backed by senior producer Lyndsey Pearson on Twitter.
With toddlers out of the picture, attention shifts back to possible new content for “The Sims 4”. As everyone knows by now, Halloween is just around the corner. Associating that with the game, many recall how a “Supernatural” DLC came out for “The Sims 3”, EA reported.
That DLC came out in 2012 and could be a fitting expansion pack for “The Sims 4” this October. Unfortunately, EA or Maxis has not made any confirmation if one is in the works.
The “Supernatural” pack allowed players to transform their ‘Sims’ into ‘vampires’, ‘witches’ or even ‘fairies’ when the DLC came out for “The Sims 3”. It would have been perfect for the season of the ‘spooks’ as EA and Maxis find ways to win interest from gamers once more.
The latest leaks append previous rumored to potential DLC packs for “The Sims 4”. That includes a rumored “City Life” expansion pack that cropped up at a Brazilian website as mentioned in a separate post here on Yibada. Like the toddler and “Supernatural” DLC, that too is up for confirmation by EA.
