Miss A's Bae Suzy cries when 'Uncontrollably Fond' run ends

'Uncontrollably Fond' is a South Korean television series starring Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy.

KBS 2TV's "Uncontrollably Fond," starring Bae Suzy and Kim Woo-Bin, won big in ratings when it aired its final episode on Sept. 8, Thursday, after a two-month run. Now, the miss A member admitted she was brought to tears when the 20-episode drama came to an end.

 The 21-year-old singer-turned-actress was so moved by the show's finale episode that she could not help crying - a lot. After the successful run of "Uncontrollably Fond", Suzy posted a collage photo on Instagram, thanking all the fans across the globe, the show's staff, fellow cast members and program directors, Park Hyun-Suk and Cha Young-Hoon.


"I could not stop crying when we were watching the finale episode together in the same room where we had gathered to watch the first episode," Suzy wrote on Instagram, as translated by The Kpop Herald. "It was truly an honor to have played the character of Noh Eul."

The "Dream High" actress added she was exceptionally grateful to have been able to work with kind the staff and cast members. The second photo on Instagram also showed a stack of the drama's scripts.
Penned by Lee Kyung-Hee, "Uncontrollably Fond" follows a couple, Shin Joon-Young (Kim) and No Eul, who got separated during their adolescent years. Now, the former is a top Hallyu star, while the latter is a documentary producer.

After a long period of time, the two reunite when No Eul was asked to film Shin Joon-Young's documentary. The melodrama marked Kim and Suzy's returned to the small screen after wrapping up with SBS's "The Heirs" and MBC's "Gu Family Book" in 2013, respectively.

In other news, Kim will star next in "Master," an upcoming crime thriller film to be directed by Cho Ui-Seok,Soompi reported. The film, which also stars Kang Dong-Won and Lee Byung-Hun, is set to hit movie theaters in early 2017.
