On the election day, Millie (Bellamy Young) is prepared to take on Cyrus (Jeff Perry), whom she just recently learned to be a member of the opposing team.
In "Scandal" Season 6, Americans will be torn between two candidates as the Republicans are represented by none other than Millie while the Democrats have Ricardo Chavira as their standard bearer. Furthermore, the vice-presidency is a tight fight between Jake (Scott Foley) and Cyrus. As the election day approaches, the tension between Republicans and Democrats are staggering even more.
According to Young, the character she is playing in "Scandal" has the biggest revelation of her life in the show so far when she learned about Cyrus' candidacy. In fact, she said that Cyrus might just as well be the horror that plague the American election, as he is a man thirsty of power, thus, he will do anything to reach the position he is vying for and hold on to it no matter the costs will be.
According to reports, Millie and Olivia (Kerry Washington) are separately devising strategies to ensure that Cyrus gets defeated on the big day. However, this seems to be a Herculean task for the two since Cyrus is also rumored to be preparing his bullets too, using Millie's past which he just knows very well.
On another note, Fitz has finally decided to make a move and leave his position to find himself and shape up his personal life. Aside from him, other characters are also said to have made life-changing decisions that will surely shock the viewers this season.
As confirmed by the producers, "Scandal" Season 6 will be aired in 2017, although it will still be behind schedule due to Kerry Washington's pregnancy. Nevertheless, fans are still positive that the show will be able to roll just right on the election day.
