MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Happening Soon with Skylake, AMD Polaris GPU and Intel Integrated Graphics?

Apple fans are raving about the iPhone 7 but others are still expecting the MacBook Pro 2016 release date especially after Tim Cook hinted that an update regarding the device may be coming soon.

Several fans were disappointed to know that the MacBook Pro 2016 specs and features were not revealed during the recent event from Apple where the iPhone 7 was revealed. It would seem that fans will have to wait for the unveiling possibly later this year.

Since the new device was a no show in the recent press event, it does not mean that Apple will not be refreshing their Mac lineup in this year. Apple CEO Tim Cook even hinted in an email to a MacRumors reader that he loves the Mac and that the company is committed to the project which means a MacBook Pro 2016 update may be nearing, BGR has learned.

The email also seems to be as legit as it can be seeing as it came from Apple's own corporate servers. In addition, Apple did not release a statement denying the email that is shown to be from Cook himself.

There are no hard evidences regarding the MacBook Pro 2016 specs but it is expected to be a huge upgrade over its predecessor. One of the most interesting speculations is the addition of a secondary screen above the keyboard which will allow the user to access app shortcuts and view notifications.

MacBook Pro 2016 could also carry a flatter keyboard and could become a thinner laptop overall, MacRumors reported. The secondary OLED touch screen could also house a TouchID sensor for faster and better security options for the user.

Apple is expected to unveil the new Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 soon considering that it has been over at least 300 days since the predecssors were released. Even the Apple iMac has not been refreshed for 332 days.

The MacBook Pro 2016 could be unveiled soon and fans are expecting a new press event from Apple in October. Other Mac products could also be unveiled as well as the rumored iPad Pro Mini.
