The latest Marvel Netflix series "Luke Cage" gain several positive reviews from its premiere date as several internet websites such as Den of Geek, Comics Beat, Collider and many more. According to the critics, the "Luke Cage" Netflix series has been described as groundbreaking in every way, from its much-needed representations of race to its reverent use of sound.

Each review praises the show’s ability to balance violence with levity, and notes that the show is considerably less gritty than tha previews shows like "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones".

"Luke Cage's" setting of Harlem gave a much needed fresh environment for the TV side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and apparently it has been done impeccably. Harlem is iconic in its own right, yet introducing Cage’s story in the upper Manhattan neighborhood amplifies his story, rather than overshadowing it.

Further more, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is not just represented as a hero in the comics, but rather somethig even bigger, but the story allowed him to be this complicated, multifaceted person. Thes show will also introduce new unique characters and an appearance by Clair Temple (Rosario Dawson) of the "Daredevil" TV series, Screenrant reported.

In other news, a new clip from "Luke Cage" Neflix series will feature its new antagonist Cornell Stokes a.k.a. Cottonmouth (Mahershala Ali).

In the video, Cottonmouth is standing behind huge photo of Notorious B.I.G as boast about being "the king" of Harlem as he slaps someone, intimidating the person in front of him, ComingSoon reported.

Cottonmouth in the show, is the owner of the Harlem's Paradise nightclub who deals in illegal operations. Ali described Stokes as "a Godfather-type villain", while Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb referred to him as "the other hero of the story", continuing the tradition of previous Marvel/Netflix villains Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Kilgrave (David Tennant).

The new Netflix series will feature Luke Cage moving into Harlem and starting a new life, however his quiet life will soon be interrupted by the amount of crime and violents on the streets. With super-human strength and a bullet-proof skin, Luke Cage will have confront his past and fight for Harlem's safety.

"Luke Cage" will premiere on Sept. 30 on Netflix.
