'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC update: New trailer featured 'Death Star' gameplay [VIDEO]; Chewbacca, Bossk added as playable characters!

Star Wars Battlefront is an upcoming action video game based on the Star Wars franchise developed by DICE and distributed by EA Games.

New details for "Star Wars Battlefront" will feature the "Death Star" DLC and two new characters added to the game's playable roster.

DICE launched a new gameplay trailer for "Star Wars Battlefront" which the upcoming "Death Star" DLC. As seen on the trailer, players will either attack the Death Star as the Rebel Alliance or defend it as the Galactic Empire. Some of the players will be taking the fight inside the Imperial Star Destroyer or on space using X-Wing, A-Wing and TIE Fighters, Polygon reported.

The "Death Star" DLC will depicts all three Battle Station phases in "Star Wars Battlefront. The first is a return to the classic space combat as the Rebels alliance will lead the X-Wings and A-Wings against an Imperial Star Destroyer. If the Rebels manage to take the Star Destroyer down, they lead an assault force into the Death Star to retrieve R2D2 and his essential intelligence. The final phase heads to the Death Star trench, where Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader race towards a climatic conflict.

Meanwhile, the "Death Star" DLC will feature two new playable characters from the "Star Wars" mythos, the Wookie Chewbacca and the bounty hunter Bossk. Chewbacca in the game will act as a tank player, as he has the more health than the other characters and he has small amount of armor that allows him absorb more damage.

Chewbacca is equipped with a laser bowcaster and its powerful than the troopers Star Card as it initially “only shoots one explosive bolt” andit does not have a hold and release behavior. In addition, Chewbacca will also shoot one extra bolt to a total of four explosive bolts. Combined with his Multi-Bolts power, Chewie will shoot a total of eight. Multi-Bolts will for a short time double the amount of bolts per shot fired. Chewbacca will also have two special moves, Mighty Roar and Ground Slam. The Mighty Roar enhances armor and berserker level effects on Chewbacca and friendly units, while Ground Slam will damage enemies around the area.

As for Bossk, he is equipped with a Relby-v10 and his Trandoshan Regeneration trait gives back a percentage of his health with each soldier kill or high damage to a hero. The health regenerated will increase with his trait, and he must continue to kill soldiers to regenerate. His Predatory Instincts will help him find targets.

Bossk's Relby-v10 can switch over to Micro-Grenade mod, where each shot puts out a micro explosive that will detonate after a short time. The grenades will also explode when hitting an enemy. The cooldown time will be longer.

The Predatory Instincts, when active will have heat vision, faster cooldowns, increased damage and increased sprinting. This vision technique will blend both tends to blend Rebels and Imperials.

Finally, Bossk can also use Toxic Escape which has him leaping into the direction he was moving. This allows him to drop a toxic Dioxis Grenade on the spot he was prior to leaping. The Dioxis Grenade is larger and stronger than other grenades. The "Death Star" DLC will be availaibe on Sept. 20, VG 24/7 reported.

"Star Wars Battlefront" is currently available in stores for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
