The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be out by the Fall, a thinner mobile solution that will come with new features. Among the highly anticipated features include an OLED touch bar and more powerful graphics processors.
In all, Apple is expected to come out with a pretty powerful MacBook Pro version. Aside from those mentioned earlier, it is likely to come out with a powerful processor which could an A10 chip as well as a USB Type-C and Touch ID features, MacRumors reported.
Speaking of processors, one of the biggest questions right now is whether Apple would be using the Kaby Lake processors or stick to the old Skylake chips. Apparently a lot of that hinges on Intel’s delivery schedule, with the assumption that Apple has gotten them by now, Apple Insider reported.
While most are wild guessing the possible upgrades and new additions, there could be one making an exit – the headphone jack. A lot of that seems to be tied up to the thinner make, something Apple has been fronting for its iPhone 7 line.
The reason behind the possible iteration stems from a survey recently sent out by Apple asking users if they ever to used headphone jacks on their MacBook Pros, MacRumors reported. Apple has yet to hint at the removal of the headphone jack though it wouldn’t come as a surprise if they did take it out.
Compared to the iPhone 7, there is a chance that future MacBook Pro users could survive without it despite the fact it takes away options for private listening or hooking up external speakers when needed.
Other than that, there are reportedly two MacBook Pro 2016 variants coming out. There will be a 13-inch and 15-inch model, with both likely carrying varying specs.
Waiting for more than four years for a MacBook Pro 2016 has gotten a lot of folks excited and hopefully it will be worth the wait. The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be unveiled this October 2016.
