It appears that Kylie Jenner still has a long way to go before she can earn a spot in the Bible of the fashion world. As of now, Vogue Magazine does not consider the teenager worthy enough to appear on its cover.
"Kylie told Kris to get her a spread in Vogue because both Kim and Kendall have been featured in the magazine," revealed a source, Life & Style reported. The teenager's request has been turned down by Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue. Wintour has reportedly met her at recently held New York Fashion Week.
Although the Vogue editor was extremely gracious to Kylie, she never even pondered over to offer Kylie the prestigious magazine cover spread. The 17-year-old reality TV personality has openly expressed her desire to follow the footsteps of her elder sister Kendall Jenner, who is now a successful runway model.
Both Kendall and Kylie's famous half-sister, Kim Kardashian, have already appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine multiple times. But the hopes of the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan got smashed badly, when even her mother Kris Jenner failed to convince the fashion guru Wintour for a cover shoot.
However, Kylie has not been returned empty handed. The teenager has been offered a spot in Teen Vogue, which she has reportedly turned down.
Meanwhile, Kylie made her runway debut recently when she walked the ramp for her brother-in-law, Kanye West, at NYFW, Hollywood Life reported. Soon after the teenager walked the ramp, various tabloids were quick to point out that West only cast Kylie in his debut fashion show because Kendall was too busy to walk for him.
Although Kylie, along with Kendall, had appeared on the cover of the March 2012 issue of teen Vogue, the teenager is still waiting for a big break in the modeling world. However, Kylie is still remains one of the popular faces of the reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and has approximately 18.2 million Instagram followers.
