"Gotham" Season 3 premiered last week with an episode titled "Better to Reign in Hell." It picks six months after the events of the finale. Gordon is not a part of GCPD anymore and is not a bounty hunter. Penguin puts a $1 million bounty on Fish Mooney, dead or alive. Gordon meets Valerie Vale and the new Ivy is introduced. She is hunted down by Fish's monster. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne's doppelganger is roaming about the Gotham City.
Moving on to "Gotham" Season 3 episode 2 "Burn the Witch." According to Spoiler TV's description for the next chapter will see Fish Mooney take control of things and search for Hugo Strange.
Elsewhere, Gordon agrees to work with journalist Valerie Vale. After much reluctance, the new bounty hunter in town joins hands with the journalist to find Pink Mooney.
At the same time, Penguin gains popularity and becomes the household name after he publicly criticises the work of the GCPD. In addition, Bruce's investigation of the Court of Owl is compromised. And Ivy Pepper makes her first appearance in the Gotham city.
In an interview with TV Line, Maggie Geha, who will play the role of Ivy Pepper, talked about the all-grown-up Ivy in "Gotham" Season 3.
"She's obviously aged physically, but she's also changed on the inside," Geha said. "She definitely has a new confidence to her. The transformation brings out a bit of her manipulative side - and some evil."
"Mentally, she's foggy. She's confused by what happened to her, and she doesn't recognise her own face," Geha added.
"The new Ivy doesn't like anybody. She sees people as a plague on the Earth," the actress explained. "But she loves plants. It's like when you're in an aeroplane and you feel a bit claustrophobic because the air isn't good quality - Ivy needs plants to feel normal, to 'breathe.' Humans, though, she sees as just wastes of space."
