'Killl Bill' star Uma Thurman plays 'My So Called Wife' character Lenny Cohen, who is articulate, mysterious and deadly

"Kill Bill" actress Uma Thurman will be in the upcoming "My So Called Wife" television drama on Bravo, recurring as "the ultimate fixer" Lenny Cohen. Her character is articulate, mysterious and deadly, who is hired to help a leader of con-artists keep his people in line or eliminate a foe.  

The character Cohen was created by executive producers Adam Brooks and Paul Adelstein specifically for Thurman. The "Pulp Fiction" star is expected to interestingly bring to life such provocative and distinctive character with her iconic talents.

The upcoming Bravo series is Thurman's third TV project, while her two past projects were from NBC. The first was "The Slap" which ended in 2015 after one season and the second was the "Smash," which was cancelled in 2013 after two seasons.  Thurman will likewise star and produce "Girl Soldier," a feature film that is based on the book "Stolen Angels: The Kidnapped Girls of Uganda" by Kathy Cook, Deadline reported.

In "My So Called Wife," Thurman stars alongside Inbar Lavi as Maddie, Rob Heaps as Ezra, Stephen Bishop as Patrick and Parker Young as Richard. The show will be the first scripted greenlight on Bravo, and produced by NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment unit helmed by Bill McGoldrick, executive vice-president for scripted content.

"My So Called Wife" joins "Odd Mom Out" and "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce" as original scripted slates on Bravo. It is Bravo's first scripted greenlight via NBCUniversal after the latter's realignment of executive responsibilities, according to Variety. Its production commenced in August in Vancouver with Brooks directing the pilot.

Bravo's upcoming drama series follows con-artist Maddie, who would get people to fall in love with her, marry them then disappear with their money. The shifting con-artist Maddie is beautiful and dangerous, who would leave her unsuspecting victims more tormented when everything has been taken from them, including their hearts.

Maddie would usually leave just a bit of information to ensure her victims will not go the police. However, her troubles began when her most recent victims Ezra and Richard are going after her while she is eyeing for her next victim, Patrick.
