"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 recently premiered with relatively high ratings.

According to TV Line, the hit ABC series opened with 8.8 million viewers and a 2.5 rating on Sept. 22 for "Undo." This marked the show's best number since Oct. 22 and Nov. 19. However, there are some rumors that "Grey's Anatomy" will not be able to match its high ratings for its upcoming episodes because the show has been typically doing well in most of it premiere episodes.

Meanwhile, fans of the series couldn't help but commend the creators and execs of "Grey's Anatomy" for such an impactful premiere episode last week. One fan wrote, "As for Grey's, please! That show has entertained me in years... and I'm not a Meredith fan at all, never was!"

Another fan @Sara wrote, "Go Grey's! That's what I call a great season premiere." One fan @Fido added, "Defn. I was so sure they were going to time jump and/or gloss over the beating and have Alex get of scoff free. Am pleased with what we got." Another fan @Emme wrote, "Woot Grey's! They've been on fire for the last couple of seasons!"

In other news, "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will air its second episode on Thursday night. "Catastrophe and the Cure" will revolve around Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) deciding who she should remain loyal to. Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will convince Meredith that there's no need for her to support Alex (Justin Chambers) just because they are friends. Alex would have to face the consequences of his actions after he assaulted Andrew De Luca (Giacomo Gianniotti).

Additionally, newlyweds Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) will host a dinner party for their friends at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. However, they will be inviting some surprise guests that may cause tension among the doctors. Jackson (Jesse Williams) will show April (Sarah Drew) support following the latter's pregnancy.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13, episode 2 will air on ABC on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. ET.
