Watford FC (2-3-1, 7 points) and AFC Bournemouth (2-3-1, 7 points) are currently struggling to stay afloat in the young 2016-2017 Premier League season. They meet at the Vicarage Road this Saturday, Oct. 1 in an English top flight round 7 match.

Start Time and Streaming Info

The game starts at 10:00 a.m. ET. It can be viewed live online thru FuboTV.

Watford began the season with three straight winless games before going on a two-game winning run highlighted by the team's historic 3-1 conquest of Manchester United.

However, they fell back to earth again as the Hornets were stunned by newly-promoted side Burnley, 0-2, during their game on Monday at the Turf Moor, as per The Guardian.

Irish midfielder Jeff Hendrick and English defender Michael Keane were the goalscorers for the host at the 38th and 50th minutes while head coach Walter Mazzarri's attacking tandem of Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo was silenced in the whole match.

The loss put Watford at the 11th spot of the current league table. The team is tied on points with Leicester City, Burnley, Hull City, and Bournemouth at the moment, but has the highest goal differential among the five teams.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth is slowly rising at this time with two wins in their last three assignments. Similar to Watford, the Cherries have also begun the season with three consecutive winless performances before earning a win.

The most recent match of head coach Eddie Howe's men was a 1-0 upset win over early leaders Everton at their home field of Vitality Stadium last Saturday, the Independent reported.

English midfielder Junior Stanislas scored the lone goal of the contest at the 23rd minute with an unexpected strike off a switch play with striker Callum Wilson.

The win was Bournemouth's second this season, which put them at the 15th place in the overall standings.

Watford and Bournemouth were newly-promoted teams last season and ended up staying in the Premier League this term. A tough battle is expected between two disciplined teams, but the Cherries are slightly favored to prevail in a highly-defensive match.

Prediction and Predicted Lineup

The predicted result is another 1-0 win for Bournemouth.

Watford starting lineup (5-3-2 formation): Gomes; Amrabat, Cathcart, Prödl, Britos, Holebas; Pereyra, Behrami, Capoue; Ighalo, Deeney

Bournemouth starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Boruc; Smith, Francis, Cook, Daniels; Surman, Arter; Stanislas, Wilshere, Ibe; Wilson
