'Overwatch' DLC rumors: 'Halloween' themed update teased; Zarya joins 'Heroes of the Storm' roster [VIDEO]

Overwatch is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by Blizzard Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

New "Overwatch" details will feature a rumored "Halloween" themed DLC update and Zarya added to "Heroes of the Storm".

Several rumors are making rounds regarding a "Halloween" themed DLC update for "Overwatch" as Reddit username TheFunyunKnight posted several audio files within the game and pointed to some special events coming in October.

Reinhardt has two lines related to Oktoberfest such as “ Oktoberfest! My favorite time of year! Now where are my lederhosen? ” and “ Do I have time for a currywurst? Hmm? ”, while there are hints of "Overwatch" Halloween event specific lines like “ My Halloween costume? Cyborg ninja. ” from Genji, “ Trick or treat. ” for Soldier: 76 and “ Ooh, scary! ” from Tracer.

There are aslo several fan made art designs for "Overwatch" characters such as Genji, McCree, Zenyata and Reaper. Genji will be wearing a tuxedo, top hat and a cain portraying a magician, while McCree will be wearing a Musketeer outfit. Zenyata will dress up as ghost with eight flying pumpkins and Reaper will be a Jack o'Lantern/Headless Horseman character, IDigital Times reported.

So far, Blizzard Entertainment has not yet made any statements regarding the possible "Halloween" themed DLC update for "Overwatch".

In other news, "Overwatch" character Zarya will be joining the roster of Blizzard's popular MOBA crossover game, "Heroes of the Storm".

Zarya is he second "Overwatch" character to join the game's roster with Tracer being the first. The latest game trailer of "Heroes of the Storm" will hightligh several of Zarya's skills in battle such as Particle Grenade, Personal Barrier, Shield Ally, Graviton Surge, Expulsion Zone and Energy.

In addition, the new battleground is introduced called "Warhead Junction", which was once a testing ground for nuclear weapons that has now fallen into ruin. Nuclear warheads will spawn about the map, allowing players to gather the devices and activate a nuke capable of dealing massive damage to enemy fortifications, Gamerant reported.

Previous reports revealed that two rumored characters Sombra and Athena will be added to "Overwatch" next month, along with a new patch update that fixes the game's analogue controls in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
