Nintendo NX fans rejoice as the console has been praised even before the company has the chance to officially reveal the product which is set for a 2017 release.
The details are still quite vague on the Nintendo NX with the latest supposedly leaked information pertaining to the hardware powering the console. NVIDIA's Tegra chip is rumored to be the processor behind the console which could mean that it will not be able to take on the PS4 Pro or the Project Scorpio Xbox One from Microsoft next year.
Nevertheless, some video game companies are praising the console as it is expected to provide a new kind of gaming experience. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that the Nintendo NX will bring Nintendo "back in the race," TechRadar has learned.
The statement from Guillemot comes from the French journalist Chloe Woitier. Ubisoft has been an open supporter of the Nintendo NX even before the Japanese video game company itself confirmed the console's existence.
In fact, one of the very first confirmed video games for the console is Ubisoft's "Just Dance 2017." Unfortunately, the game does not really help confirm whether the device will be a powerhouse like the PS4 Pro or the Project Scorpio.
There are even rumors that the Nintendo NX will be going back to cartridges for its media, ValueWalk reported. Nintendo themselves have not yet confirmed the speculations.
Tsunekazu Ishihara, the Pokémon Company CEO, told The Wall Street Journal that they will be making games for the Nintendo NX. Of course, it would be obvious that it will be new "Pokémon" games.
Ishihara said: " The NX is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a hand-held device."
Despite all the high praises and positive feedback from developers, some people are still skeptical as to what the Nintendo NX will really offer when it is released in 2017. Nintendo NX specs and features are still not confirmed and the earliest reveal could be expected sometime in 2016's holiday season considering that the release date is pegged for some time on March 2017.
