New game details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" details will feature new worlds for the sequel and a possible episodic release soon.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding how Square Enix will launch "Kingdom Hearts 3" as game director Tetsuya Nomura told Famitsu (via Gamepur) that there are plans for a episodic release due to the fact that the scale of the game's story will be huge and Nomura is overwhelmed about it.
Although Nomura admitted that he is afraid of an episodic release style as it might ruin the tempo of "Kingdom Hearts 3's" storyline. Nomura added that an online multiplayer feature for the sequel soon and he has been hinting clues from past interviews, though nothing concrete is being confirmed to date.
Meanwhile, Square Enix hinted that there will be new Disney worlds being introduced for "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon and they may reveal it during "Kingdom Hearts" 15 anniversary. Square Enix is excited about the progress of the much anticipated sequel, alongside "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue".
So far, the new Disney worlds featured in "Kingodm Hearts 3" are "Tangled", "Hercules" and "Big Hero 6", while other rumored worlds may include "Frozen", "Wreck-it Ralph", "Toy Story", "The Jungle Book", "Brave", "Zootopia" etc.
In addition, game co-director Tai Yasue also teased that characters from Star Wars and Marvel franchises could appear in "Kingdom Hearts 3", but it will take awhile for Square Enix to acquire the rights from Disney.
A previously leaked GIF image showed graphical improvements for "Kingdom Hearts 3" and rumor has it that the game updates will also add more characters so fans are said to have a choice to use Kairi, a young Xenohart and Eraqutus in the game, iTechPost reported.
Square Enix also plans to port "Kingdom Hearts 3" for the PC soon. Unfortunately for Nintendo users, the game will not be available in the new Nintendo NX console. The Japanese game developers will first release "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Prologue" on Jan. 24, 2017 for the PS4. Lucky Japanese gamers will have an early release date for the game on Jan. 12.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
