The latest details for "No Man's Sky" will feature a new patch update, new DLC and a rumored Xbox One and Mac versions of the game soon.
Hello Games launched a new patch update for "No Man's Sky" called "patch 1.09" this week for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms as the new update will fix the many troubling issues surrounding the sci-fi space exploration game. First of these are the many bugs that have corrupted "No Man's Sky's" gameplay such as the "Antimatter blueprint", which were stranded in the second solar system has been addressed.
The second issue will be the recovery of the save files which were corrupted as Hello Games stated that the new patch update has robust the save file features within "No Man's Sky".
Patch 1.09 fixed a few crashes in the game, and makes some elements of "No Man’s Sky" look tougher. For instance, it is not possible to take out a Gek factory door with a single grenade anymore, and the player's wanted level is now guaranteed to rise when they destroy a door, regardless of their multi-tool’s power.
Other highlights of the patch 1.09 will make it far less possible for players to lose resources, whether by preventing them from opening crates if their inventory is full, or by fixing an issue in transferring items between their exosuit and starship, Polygon reported.
In other news, Hello Games teased new content for "No Man's Sky" very soon as the game's composer Paul Weir tweeted to a fan that new music will be coming soon to the game.
Hello Games founder Sean Murray expressed his interest in adding new things such as freighters and bases for "No Man's Sky" soon, so the possibility of that happening for the first DLC is somewhat guaranted.
The company recently hired a community and support management team to prioritize and categorize feedback and issues that community has raised for "No Man's Sky. The future free updates will improve, expand and build the game's universe properly for gamers who wanted to see its full potential.
Lastly, Murray teased a possible Xbox One version of "No Man's Sky" as he told Daily Star that he needed to be "very specific with his words" and he was not sure if he was allowed say something about it. Murray was more than happy to talk about the future possibilities that the new and powerful console hardware, could have on the game.
Hello Games plans on having "No Man's Sky" to be procedurally generated. Meaning, more powerful hardware does not mean upgraded textures or a higher frame rate. It means they can fundamentally change the experience of what game is like in with better experience for the players.
A Mac version is also heavily rumored for "No Man's Sky", although gamers can install a window's program on their Mac computers to play the game. There is still a bit of hope that a Mac version could be in the works next year and gamers will have to wait for further announcements from Hello Games after they have launched, thus having several post launch plans.
"No Man's Sky" is currently available for the PS4 and PC platforms.
