Google Pixel XL specs, features leak ahead of official unveiling event

The Google Pixel C is a new convertible tablet built by Google.

Google Pixel leaks and photos have been leaked before the unveiling event from the search engine giant themselves in a few hours.

The newest Android smartphone exclusive from Google has made fans excited around the world. In a sense, the Google Nexus smartphones was the company's own brand but they were not the ones who manufactured the device in the first place.

Google Pixel seems to be the answer for the long-anticipated smartphone that every Google fan wants as each aspect of the device is their own doing. There have been several leaks about the specs and they appear to be almost everything that the fans wanted.

Carphone Warehouse reportedly leaked the promotional content for the upcoming Google Pixel smartphone that is expected to be launched in a few hours, The Guardian has learned. The company posted the Google Pixel listings which revealed the specs and features of the Android smartphone.

Google Pixel XL Specs and Features

The smartphone is expected to have one 32GB variant and another with 128GB both with 4GB RAM and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Both will also have AMOLED screens for a brighter and clearer display overall.

Google Pixel XL will have a better 1440p resolution while the base model will still have 1080p for the resolution, Android Police reported. The processor will be clocked at 2.15GHz which is faster than most of the mainstream and high-end devices available in the market.

In terms of the battery life, the Google Pixel XL will have a larger 3450mAh capacity while the base model will have 2700mAh which is still considerably enough for day to day activities. Of course, the most probable situation would be nightly charging under heavy to moderate use of the phone's features.

Android 7.1 Nougat will be the Google Pixel's operating system out of the box. Since the smartphone will be coming from Google themselves, it is expected that it will at least be updated to Android 8.0 when the time comes in 2017.

Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL is expected to be officially unveiled by the company soon including the release date and pricing. Carphone Warehouse might have just beaten Google to the punch.
