WWE rumors 2016: Dolph Ziggler, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows exit looming

Dolph Ziggler places his career on the line against The Miz at WWE No Mercy.

Dolph Ziggler and “The Club” (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) stand to follow the footsteps of Alberto Del Rio unless the WWE does something to get their stars to shine. “The Club” fell to the “New Day twice while “The Showoff” is putting his career on the line if he loses once again to the Miz at WWE No Mercy.

On one end, “The Club” lost to “The New Day” at WWE Clash of Champions and then again the following night at WWE Raw, WWE.com reported. Thus far, the duo has hardly gotten any headway and may be primed for an exit unless they are given some sort of push like winning the WWE Raw tag team titles.

When the WWE signed up Anderson and Gallows, it was seen more as a tactic to reel in AJ Styles. “The Phenomenal One” is the reigning WWE heavyweight champion but had a short stint teaming with “The Club” prior to the brand split.

Since going separate ways, the WWE has tried to apply certain gimmicks to the duo but have so far failed. They have been hot on the tails of the “New Day” but have been foiled each time.

Unless the WWE does something to build on their stock, it is likely that Anderson and Gallows consider exiting the WWE scene and join other groups like TNA or Ring of Honor. This is assuming that the WWE creative team would be killing their storyline feud with the “New Day”.

Over at Smackdown, Ziggler will meet “The Miz” again for the Intercontinental title where he has placed his career on the line. The timing has sent off mixed signals considering Ziggler’s contract will be expiring, PWinsider reported.

Ziggler’s situation is similar to where he was last year though he ended up re-signing with the company. In fact, he was even cast in a movie titled “6:42” (later renamed “Countdown”) where he starred alongside Kane.

It remains to be seen if Ziggler is offered a contract though the “Showoff” may seriously consider jumping ship. Should he leave the WWE, he could be a main event star for other companies like TNA or even the New Japan Pro Wrestling plus better pay.
