'Clash of Clans' is a freemium mobile MMO strategy video game developed and published by Supercell.

It appears now that the anticipated "Clash of Clans" September Update was pushed back to October but according to a new report, the promise feature bumps, gameplay changes and bugs fixes have been deployed already. The activation date will happen as scheduled - October 11.

When CoC had undergone server maintenance September 21, what really happened was the insertion of massive feature upgrades into the game, Game 'N' Guide reported. Essentially, the promised upgrades and fixes are now on the game server and will go live following the October 4 and 5 Sneak Peeks announced by Supercell. The target day, as mentioned, is Tuesday next week.

"Players are speculating that there are already updates encrypted in the game servers. Supercell might release the Clash of Clans October update anytime soon," the report said.

Among the key changes expected are some bits of housecleaning and server corrections. The former will see some rule modifications that intend to do away with game cheats, specifically the Clashers using bots in playing the game. It's highly likely that too banning will continue in pursuit of a balanced CoC gameplay.

As for the server fix, the goal is for CoC to run more smoothly and with greater stability.

Rumors have it too that Town Hall 12 or TH12, a possible new Hero, Clan Challenge and free gem mining will be packed with the update. These are massive game alterations that likely will be provided in instalment and not in one fell swoop.

It's safer to assume that free gem mining is for real and the rest will be delivered in the upcoming updates. Clashers are convinced that Clan Challenge should be in before yearend then TH12 will come next, most likely in early 2017.

But the confirmation of the new CoC features will surely come via the Sneak Peeks this week then gamers can look forward for the fresh features to go live in the days ahead.

Of note, Supercell forum staff Anoushka has clarified that the Clash of Clans update was not delayed at all and to begin with, there was no confirmation that the next update was slated for September. So the October 11 arrival of new CoC features is Supercell right on time.
