iOS 10 jailbreak tool from Pangu still not present due to updates from Apple

| Oct 05, 2016 06:25 AM EDT

Apple Software Engineering SVP Craig Federighi introduces the new iOS software at an Apple event at the Worldwide Developer's Conference on June 13, 2016 in San Francisco, California.

Pangu has unveiled their iOS 10 jailbreak even before the new operating system version was released several months ago but there seems to be no sight of the actual tool now.

Apple released the final iOS 10 build for everyone on their new iPhone 7 devices and its predecessors. Some are already looking for the iOS 10 jailbreak tool that Pangu teased during a recent event but it is still a no show.

Since the cracked version was from a beta, Pangu and other hacking teams could be finding it hard to crack the new version now. It could take several days or weeks before a tool can come out.

Apple released two updates that could be preventing the iOS 10 jailbreak from happening even by Pangu's prowess and track record, iTech Post has learned. There have been no updates yet from Pangu or any of the other hacking teams that could post different jailbreak tools.

The iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak has been widely sought after in the past few months but many people are now shifting to the newest version because of the extra features. Luca Tedesco has shown several iOS 9 jailbreaks but he refused to distribute the tool or the information on how he managed to break the code.

Pangu is not the only hacker who can release the iOS 10 jailbreak tool as Unlock-Jailbreak team also promised to launch one, Gamenguide reported. There is no confirmation from other iPhone users yet but iPads are seemingly prevented from using the tool.

Apple could be releasing a new iOS 10 update soon and it could also foil the efforts of those looking to release jailbreak tools. Still, there is still a chance considering that jailbreakers were able to do their stuff even at the iOS 9.3 versions.

There is no official word yet from Pangu, Luca or the other hacking teams that can release an iOS 10 jailbreak tool. Fans will have to sit tight and wait for the crack if they want to use Cydia and other custom features on their iPhone 7 or iPad Pro devices from Apple.
