2016 iMac and MacBook Pro release date and update: Devices slated for October end with no headphone jack?

| Oct 06, 2016 12:10 PM EDT

The 2016 MacBook Pro and 2016 iMac are going to be unveiled or possible even be released by Oct. 27.

Rumor has it that the much anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 and the all new iMac 2016 will be out by end of October.

According to Forbes, Rhoda Alexander of IHS Markit Technology revealed that the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air devices should arrive not later than October. Despite the lack of official statements, some reports say that the Cupertino-based tech giant is all set on the hardware side, but the OS version is still unknown.

The MacBook Pro 2016 may come armed with macOS 11.12.1 if the Cupertino-based tech giant manages to test and ensure its workability in time. Apple is possibly working on it right now and hopes to complete it in time for the reported second-half arrival of the MacBook Pro 2016.

Following Apple's trend of launching its new MacBook gadgets during the last week of October, there is the possibility that an Oct. 24 might be for MacBook Pro 2016. This may be a good timing, as holiday shopping would begin right about that time, 9to5Mac reported.

However, the excitement is not only within the MacBook Pro 2016 alone, as there is also a possibility of having another iMac. The new iMac may feature a 5K display, making it even cooler.

Speculations also suggest that the MacBook Pro 2016 may not have headphone jacks either. The laptop will also be slimmer and will feature a flatter keyboard than its predecessors. The device will be the thinnest laptop Apple has made, matching it with Intel's Skylake processors. The thin and more powerful MacBook Pro 2016 makes it a very good buy.
