The latest details and spoilers for "Supergirl" season2 will feature Mon-El and Lynda Carter im episode 3 and the Supergirl universe not part of the "Arrowverse".

The plot details for episode 3 of "Supergirl" season 2 titled "Welcome to Earth" has been revealed as Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and the DEO are in action to protect the United State President after an alien attack during her visit to National City.

The said attack has ignited a feud between human and alien relations. Alex and the DEO will be teaming up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima), while Kara is doing her own investiagtion on her own. This led to Kara suspecting the Kryptonian Mon-El (Chris Wood) as the prime suspect for the attack on the president and hopes to catch him before the DEO and national security find him first. "Wonder Woman" TV series star Lynda Carter will be playing the President of the United States, IDigital Times reported.

In other news, it seems that the status of "Supergirl" TV series merging with the "Arrowverse" revealed some new details as executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly that any shift in time and space will be not for her entire world, but Kara will be traveling from her dimension to their dimension, which is the world of "Arrow", "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow".

This could mean that the "Supergirl" TV series is still set in another world seperate from the "Arrowverse" DC characters. Supergirl will be part of the four-night crossover episodes which features her teaming up with Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin), Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh), Sarah Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz) and many more to fight an invading alien race called the Dominators.

The story of the crossover will based on the DC comic book storyline "Invasion!" in the 1980s and co-producer Marc Guggenheim stated in an interview that they will be using cutting edge prosthetics and computer effects to achieve a feature film-quality look, faithful to comic book artist Todd McFarlane’s interpretation of the characters. The said crossover will center on Supergirl and it is set on Barry's home town of Central City.

Kreisberg added the "Supergirl" season 2 will not only focus on about Fort Rozz aliens, but a whole universe of species, creatures, invaders and explorers that make pit stops on Earth, comparing it to "Men in Black". Supergirl will also fight the mysteriosu Project Cadmus as they are connected to the disappearance of her adopted father, Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain).

"Supergirl" will air on Oct. 10 on the CW Network.
