'Final Fantasy XV' rumors: PC version's development to happen more than a year; PS VR DLC, Xbox One S support soon?

Final Fantasy XV is an action-RPG video game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feaure a PlayStation VR DLC, Xbox One S support and the status of the sequel's PC version.

Square Enix announced that the possible PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" will likely be in the works soon as game director Hajime Tabata told Spanish based website Vida Extra (via WCCFTech) that it will take more than a year for the game to developed for the PC as they wanted to provide a better version of the game for users compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

PC users were adamant about having "Final Fantasy XV" for the PC going to the point that they made online petition for Square Enix to think and reconsider several years back. For now, Square Enix is sole focus on finishing and promoting "Final Fantasy XV" for the consoles before its intended launch date next month.

In other news, Square Enix will providing HDR support for "Final Fantasy XV" in Microsoft's update Xbox One console, the Xbox One S.

The announcement was made when Xbox head Phil Spencer tweeted that "Final Fantasy XV" will have HDR support for the Xbox One S during the game's launch.

Square Enix previously announced that they will add supports for "Final Fantasy XV" in the updated consoles namely the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S. While many gamers have long since decided which console they prefer based on the actual titles they offer, it is still important to remain competitive in virtually every category in the console performance, and HDR support within "Final Fantasy XV" will ensure the Xbox One S continues to challenge the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro this year, Gamerant reported.

In addition, Square Enix plans to have a new DLC for "Final Fantasy XV" specifically for the PlayStation VR as Tabata stated that what they saw in the E3 2016 event was just a technical demo, but the real thing will be added soon as an additional content for the sequel.

Previous reports revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" will feature Moogles as "lucky items" to help players avoid all kinds of troubles in the game, especially in difficult situations.

There is also a promotion called "Moogle Collection" to accompany Square Enix's announcement, functioning as a reward program that will give users Moogle rewards once the English and Japanese "Final Fantasy XV" Twitter accounts hit certain milestones. These rewards have yet to be revealed, but the website layout indicates there will be eight of them; seven mystery ones and a “Moogle Movie”,

"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
