Nintendo has not announced more information about the highly-anticipated Nintendo NX but there are leaks claiming that the price and features have been revealed.
Sony has already revealed their PlayStation Pro while Microsoft is not set to roll out their Project Scorpio upgraded Xbox One till next year. The Nintendo NX release date is already set sometime on March 2017 and with only a few months away, fans are now increasingly becoming more anxious.
Nintendo NX Specs and Features
Earlier rumors and speculations have claimed that the Nintendo NX will actually be powered by just the NVIDIA Tegra chip which is used in mobile gaming. It could mean that the console will not be taking the Project Scorpio and PlayStation Pro head on considering that it would already be a handicap due to its less powerful specs.
One new conflicting report also claims that the Nintendo NX will actually handle 4K support similar to the PlayStation Pro, iTech Post has learned. However, the caveat is that it would only be able to handle 4K video streaming and not the actual rendering of the 3D games itself.
The new reports come from Reddit by poster FlapSnapple who claims that he or she has a verified source. In addition, the Nintendo NX would most likely be able to support only up to 1080p especially if the NVIDIA Tegra rumors are indeed true.
There are also allegedly leaked posters of the Nintendo NX which led to conclusions that it would have at least four games when it launches in 2017, BGR reported. The leaked info shows that the Nintendo NX will be priced at $300 while the bundles will start at $400 but the inclusions are still unknown.
Leakers also claim that the Nintendo NX will arrive in stores for the Demo units around February although no solid date has been set yet. The demo units would be used to promote the product and to increase the hype for the Nintendo NX when it eventually goes on sale on March 2017 along with the list of confirmed games and accessories which are also unconfirmed yet.
