The latest details for the "Final Fantasy 7' remake will feature new gameplay on December and Square Enix to divide the game into three parts.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the development of "Final Fantasy 7" remake as Square Enix plans on releasing the remake sometime on 2017 and be showcased in the Electronic Entertainment Expo event.
However, there have been reports that the first episode of the game could launch on March 2017 as since Square Enix plans on having an episodic release for "Final Fantasy 7" remake. Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase told Game Informer that they would like to have the game divided into three parts and be patterned similar to "Final Fantasy XIII". Kitase added that each part of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be a full-scale game as every installment may tell the story from a different perspective.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura stated that that they are preparing "Final Fantasy 7" remake for a big info reveal, instead of releasing small bits and pieces every now and then. Nomura added that the remake is still in the early development stages and added that it will quite awhile for it to be complete. Nomura and Square Enix will personally announce the following updates about the game very soon.
In addition, Kitase stated that "Final Fantasy 7" remake's battle system will be similar to the "Final Fantasy" action-fighting game, "Dissidia", GameNGuide reported. As seen in several trailers, the battle system has been changed to that of an action gameplay rather than the traditional JRPG system in the original game.
Meanwhile, Square Enix will likely reveal new game details for "Final Fantasy 7" remake at the PSX 2016 event on December. There are also reports that Square Enix will not push through with porting "Final Fantasy 7" remake onto the Nintendo NX console.
Nomura and Square Enix will personally announced the following updates about the game very soon.There are also rumors that a bundle version of "Final Fantasy 7" remake could launch on 2019.
Square Enix is currently busy developing and promoting "Final Fantasy XV" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" next year for the PS4 console.
"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4 console as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the game.
