iOS 10 jailbreak to be launched sooner or later by Pangu, new updates delay release

| Oct 11, 2016 11:34 PM EDT

Apple Software Engineering SVP Craig Federighi introduces the new iOS software at an Apple event at the Worldwide Developer's Conference on June 13, 2016 in San Francisco, California.

Apple has released the new version of their mobile operating system but Pangu has not yet launched an iOS 10 jailbreak tool despite being able to tease fans during the beta stage.

The Cupertino-based company seems to have won another battle against hackers as there have been no sightings of a solid iOS 10 jailbreak yet. Pangu, TaIG and other hackers are still silent about their progress or lack thereof after several weeks of the iOS 10 launch.

Owners of iPhones with the new iOS 10 version will have to wait indefinitely as there have been no announcements of a jailbreak being close to completion yet. Pangu still has no iOS 10 jailbreak yet probably because of the continued updates for the operating system including the recent iOS 10.2, iTech Post has learned.

Other hackers have also been silent regarding their progress in hacking iOS 10. Users are stuck with the legit version with no support for Cydia and their customized tweaks and apps.

Even the recent iOS 9.3 updates have prevented the jailbreaking community from releasing the latest tools. Apple has released several updates reportedly to prevent vulnerabilities from showing up in their operating system.

The new iOS 10.0.3 update may again block Pangu and the other hackers' efforts in providing the much-awaited iOS 10 jailbreak, Gamenguide reported. In addition, the hackers could be just waiting for the updates to slow down in order for them to be able to focus their efforts in jailbreaking without having to worry about a newer update.

iOS 10 Jailbreak Release Date

It is now known when there will be an iOS 10 jailbreak tool available considering that Apple is still churning out updates for their newest operating system version. Nevertheless, there will be an iOS 10 jailbreak as the previous versions have been jailbroken as well.

Users who want a jailbroken iPhone will have to stay on their current iOS 9.3.2 or iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak device and refrain from updating their devices. They should wait for the official iOS 10 jailbreak tool from Pangu or the other hackers if they want to continue their tweaks and apps with Cydia.
