Adam Levine, Maroon 5 frontman, gives his all singing.

It seems like the Adam Levine-fronted pop rock group Maroon 5 is getting back together in the studio to produce a new album after a new song of the group with collaboration with rapper Kendrick Lamar emerged.

The said source revealed the band released their first new song in two years entitled "Don't Wanna Know" earlier this week, which featured Lamar, who released his own record "To Pimp A Butterfly" in 2015.

The 29-year-old Compton native appeared on the track for 18 seconds wherein he dropped a few lines with relation to the theme of the song about an ex.

"No more 'please stop'/ No more hashtag #BoodUp screenshots/ No more tryin' make me jealous on your birthday," the verse was quoted.

The pop band is now heard experimenting with the electronic-pop sound compared to the more dance-pop songs they previously released, as told by Rolling StoneAlthough Maroon 5's new sound was heard on their 2015 album "V," as part of the bonus track "This Summer's Gonna Hurt."

In the contrary, some reports revealed that the new Maroon 5 album could lead to a throwback for their solid fans, as it could sound something like their first release - "Songs About Jane," guitarist James Valentine hinted in an interview with Huffington Post.

"We'll have to see," Valentine said when asked if the songs would have a hint of their first album. "We don't ever really know until we get into the studio and we kind of just have to follow what everybody's interested in."

The guitarist, however, confirmed that a new Maroon 5 album is on its way, stating how they have a few songs lined up and ready to be tracked inside the studio.

"We do have a song that I think we're going to put out in between this record and our next record, which we just put the finishing touches on," he said while they were working on "Don't Wanna Know." "And we have some more songs in various states of progress that we'll be working on at the end of this year and beginning of next year." Here's a glimpse on their new single entitled, "Don't Wanna Know."
