'Clash of Clans' is a freemium mobile MMO strategy video game developed and published by Supercell.

Supercell has finally released the much-awaited October "Clash of Clans" update. Among the many new features, players will enjoy the Friendly Wars added to the gameplay.

The Friendly Wars feature allows any two clans to compete in a battle for fan. Players can begin by searching for a clan to issue a Friendly War challenge. The next step would be to tap the challenge button to invite the clan to a Friendly War, which is effected only if the particular clan has decided to receive Friendly Wars challenges.

It is interesting to note that the challenging clan can customize a war by setting its duration and choosing the size of the battle before issuing a challenge. War durations can be a short as an hour and wars can have variety sizes from five vs. five to 50 vs. 50.

Gamers are not rewarded with war loot or Clan XP during the Friendly Wars. Furthermore, only attacking Clan Castle troops would be consumed when attacking, according to "Clash of Clan" official blog.

The game developer, Supercell, previously released sneak peeks that hinted at new troop levels and defense structures. These features have been added to the game and most of the new troops are concentrated on Town Hall Level 11. The new troops include wizard level 7, hidden tesla level 9, baby dragon level 5, mortar level 10, dragon level 6, x-bow level 5, and 25 more wall pieces.

There is also a new bomb tower for players at Town Hall 8, which can be upgraded to level 5. For those dedicated gamers, as soon as one hits Town Hall 10, he or she will have an option to create an extra bomb tower.

Many troops have also received balance changes to help in keeping the gameplay "fun and interesting." Apart from the balance changes, some of the troops have received upgrade discounts in terms of time and cost. Players can only discover the exact discount in the process of playing the game.
