Lamar Odom

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of Lamar Odom's drug overdose in Nevada. Is he still on drugs?

Since Odom nearly died on October 13, 2015, rumors have been swirling in regard to his allegedly rebooted drug and alcohol use. In fact, a Radar Online report in August claimed Odom was caught smoking pot during a visit to his cousin's house in Rhode Island.

Odom has also been accused of drinking alcohol and in June, a TMZ report claimed friends had discovered a crack pipe at the home Khloe Kardashian had previously rented him in Calabasas, California. Around that time, Kardashian terminated the lease on the home and he returned weeks later to New York City, where his children live with their mother, Liza Morales.

According to a recent report shared by Page Six, Odom may be off the wagon yet again and his fellow Darryl Strawberry is said to be "desperate" to reach him before another overdose takes place. As the outlet revealed, Odom recently appeared on Dr. Phil’s television show, The Doctors, and made a public plea to Odom to get help.

“His family reached out to me because I am in recovery. I have two treatment centers,” Strawberry explained during the episode, which will be aired on October 26. “You have to understand, with celebrities, they are always silent. And that’s why most of them end up dying — because of the shame and the guilt."

Strawberry went on to use Prince and Whitney Houston as an examples, explaining to Dr. Phil that both musicians would still be alive if someone had talked.

“I reached out to Lamar,” Strawberry continued. “I have the centers because people’s lives matter. It’s not about me. It’s not calling out the celebrity — you are calling out the disease. If you don’t call it out and expose it, you will never get well.”

Odom suffered his overdose last year while partying at a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada and spent three months in the hospital after the incident took place.
