Kiss the Boss

Many employees who rely on their jobs to feed their families would do anything their bosses ask so as not to be fired. It is a global practice usually frowned on by companies which often results in sexual harassment complaints.

It explains why female sales ladies of a jewelry shop bear the embarrassment of selling gold, watches and other jewelries to customers topless with only pasties to cover their nipples. It is also the reason why female workers of a brewery machine in Beijing line up each morning and kiss their young male boss on the lips as he required.

While most companies sponsor weekend activities with group dynamics as part of team-building to encourage camaraderie and promote cooperation in a corporate setting, for the unidentified male boss, the daily morning kiss is his version of morale building and helping foster good relationships among colleagues, Independent reported.

Naturally, many women workers oppose the mandatory kiss but just endure it to keep their jobs, but two workers resigned because they could not stomach the idea, according to Straitstimes. However, one brave employee secretly took a video of the morning ritual and posted it on social media. The video has gone viral and the male boss was the subject of a lot of negative comments from netizens.

Despite the video evidence, claims that the news is fake also circulated after some employees denied their boss demands the daily kiss. However, the unidentified male boss had admitted to the morning kiss which he claimed binds them like water and fish.

The boss, described by some netizens on Weibo as a pervert, said he got the idea after he saw a company in the U.S. practice it. Could it be one of the companies owned by Republic presidential candidate Donald Trump?
