Pokemon Go Gen 2 to offer features that will revolutionize Pokemon Go; New Pokemon, baby eggs will be introduced in the coming update

Pokemon Go Gen 2 will offer features that will revolutionize Pokemon Go.

If reports are anything to go by, breeding and baby eggs will be introduced in the upcoming update.

The baby eggs will hatch into pre-evolution Pokemon. For the breeding feature, Ditto will be introduced as an assistant in the creation of eggs for Tauros, Kangaskhan, Jynx, Chansey, Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan (single-gendered Pokemon).

Players will have more starter options in Gen 2 when the new batch of creatures arrive - Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chikorita.

According to reports, the new Pokemon can also include region-locked ones. Rumor has it that Miltank will be available in North America only and Heracross will be available in Asia only.

Legendary Pokemon (Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Mewtwo and Mew), three new Incense types, and trading system are some of the rumored Pokemon Go Gen 2 features. Source codes were found within Pokemon Go that hint at these updates.

Reports also suggest that many Gen 1 Pokemon will get evolutions in Pokemon Go Gen 2. This includes Porygon 2, Umbreon, Espeon, Crobat, Bellosom, Scizor, Politoed, Blissey, Slowking, Kingdra, Hitmontop and Steelix.

The major requirement for the new evolutions is many Candies. The Buddy System helps Pokemon Go gamers get more Candies, therefore, it may be good for gamers to save as many Candies as they can in preparation for the huge update.

Pokemon Go Gen 2 is expected to roll out in March next year.

Back in July, John Hanke, Niantic's CEO, said that Pokemon Go Gen 2 will introduce a larger function for PokeStops, The Verge reported.

Hanke further said that it is a cool idea that players can get an object that changes a PokeStop's function and gives it a new ability.

Meanwhile, over 10 million gamers have already left Pokemon Go, Daily Mail Online reported. However, despite losing gamers, the mobile game is getting better as the developer continues to update Pokemon Go with patches.

According to reports, it is the decreasing number of gamers that is pushing the company to create something new, so as to keep the Pokemon Go's mechanics and contents always competitive and interesting.
