Ben Affleck reprises his role as Bruce Wayne in the new Batman solo film for the DC Extended Universe.

New details and spoilers for "The Batman" will feature Anna Kendrick as the Dark Knight's sidekick Robin and the film title being changed again.

"Batman V Superman" star Ben Affleck teased the possibility that his new Batman solo film, affectionately called "The Batman" will likely have a title change yet again as he told E! News that talks about the new solo Batman film have been around a long time, the movie is still not happening yet and they are still figuring out from the scripts to th movie's budget costs.

Affleck added that "The Batman" title is still tentative and may be a subject of change, however, movie goers and comic book fans have adapted the moniker of the new Batman film. Warner Bros. believes that "The Batman" is 18 months out, but the studio has yet to secure an official release date for the movie.

This can probably be attributed to Affleck not wanting to move forward on the project until he is completely happy with the screenplay. While the three DCEU installments to date have all posted strong box office numbers like "Man of Steel, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad", the results have been far more mixed in terms of critical reception.

With the arguably uneven stories and characterizations coming under fire, it is understandable why Affleck would want to hold off until he was certain he had a quality narrative in place for "The Batman" movie.

In other news, its seems that "The Batman" film will likely get there version of Robin in the film as "The Accountant" star Anna Kendrick tries to convince his co-star Affleck to be his sidekick in the solo Batman film.

Affleck on the other hand, is unsure whether add the "Pitch Perfect" actress in "The Batman", nor did he want a Robin in the film. However, "Magic Mike" star Joe Manganiello supports the ideo of Kendrick being Robin as he posted a photo on Instagram the two posing each other side-by-side with the caption "#Deathstroke and #Robin".

BossLogic also supported the idea for Kendrick being Robin as he tweeted an edited photo of her being Robin along with Manganiello being Deathstroke. Interestingly, the Kendrick's version Robin looks like Carrie Kelly version in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns".

In the comics, Carrie Kelly is 13-year-old girl who Batman saves from a mutant gang. She idolizes the Cape Crusader, and Bruce decides to train her as his newest protege after she save his life during a brutal fight with the Mutant leader.

Affleck will appear first in the "Justice League" movie on Nov. 17, 2017 as Warner Bros. does not have a release date for "The Batman" solo film.
