The latest details and spoilers for the "Justice League" movie will feature clues on Superman's resurrection and a new cast member joining the film.
"Superman" film actor Marc McClure teased comic book fans that he will likely have a role in the Warner Bros. superhero film "Justice League" during a Q&A session after the screening of "Superman 2" in Sydney, Australia. McClure is known to playing Daily Planet's resident photographer and Superman ally Jimmy Olsen in Christopher Reeve's version of the Man of Steel.
It is unknown yet what character or role he will be play in the "Justice League" movie, but he can tell was that McClure is stated to appear in a movie at the end of 2017. He was asked about any "Superman" properties he would appear in, and "Justice League" is slated to premiere in November of 2017, ComicBook reported.
In other news, several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible resurrection of Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill) during the events of the "Justice League" movie.
Cavill previously posted a photo on his Instagram, teasing comic book fans that Superman will be wearing a black version of his suit. The black costume is a significant part of the Superman mythos as this is the outfit used when he resurrected after his fight with Doomsday which lead to his supposed death.
There have been several theories as to how Superman will be brought back life during the "Justice League" film. First will involve a clone of the Man of Steel as there have been many instances that Clark has been cloned in the comics by the villains.
Another is the used of Kryptonian technology that were left during the "Man of Steel" movie that can be used to revive him such as a Scout Ship or a Regeneration Matrix.
The next theory suggest that Superman could be resurrected by the New Gods in Apokalips like Steppenwolf or Darkseid and will likely aid them in there conquest of earth. There is also a theory involving Barry Allen/The Flash's (Ezra Miller) ability to travel through other dimensions and recruit an alternate version of Superman to help them fight Steppenwolf's forces.
Lastly, Superman can be brought back to life through natural means via "healing coma" as the end of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" teased that Clark is still alive as pieces of dirt started to floot to the ground the same manner as how Superman is about to fly, Screenrant reported.
The plot of "Justcie League" will feature Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) recruiting a small group of metahumans; Barry Allen/The Flash, Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to fight an unforseen threat in space.
Previous reports teased that Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) will be facing Batman in his flying command center the "Flying Fox) as Slade has been hired by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) to take him out.
The are also rumors that Green Lantern will be appearing in the film's post-credits scene and joining the main roster on the sequel.
"Justice League" movie is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while the sequel will launch on June 14, 2019.
