'Tyranny' is an upcoming role playing video game from Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive.

"Tyranny" is set to introduce an interesting gameplay scenario where gamers will play an antagonist supporting an evil Overlord named Kyros. Recently, Paradox Interactive and game developer Obsidian Entertainment unveiled the game's release date, including details about its Conquest mode.

Avid fans of role playing games will soon have the chance to play the role of a "Fatebinder" in "Tyranny." Described as a judge and executioner, the said role wields the power to destroy lands and control evil armies in Paradox and Obsidian's upcoming gaming title.

A "Tyranny" game demo review posted on Polygon featured a look at more than 30 minutes of gameplay. Unlike other gaming titles, the upcoming game's opening sequence features a prologue quest simply named "Conquest."

The said mode will provide gamers the chance to play out their role in Kyros' ultimate invasion plan. Gameplay decisions that players will choose during Conquest will ultimately impact how other factions will respond to a gamer's character as the game progresses.

Meanwhile, the prologue quest transpires over a war table that contains a map of "Tyranny's" world. Miniature gold pieces that represent armies and major locations such as the settlement called "Lethian's Crossing" are placed in various parts of the war map.

Conquest mode also features a narrative depiction of the action instead of a cut-scene that would have showed the devastation of a specific area. However, players can opt to skip Conquest and proceed to the game's first act.

In other news, pre-order information unveiled by Paradox on its official website detailed the three game bundles currently available for "Tyranny." Apart from the base game, the various bundles contain exclusive items such as a detailed map and more.

The basic bundle named the "Commander" edition is priced at $44.99 and includes the base game, ringtones, a special forum icon and access to forum avatars. The "Archon" and "Overlord" edition also contains the same basic bundle items with a few add-ons such as a game developer autographed wallpaper, exclusive coat of arms and more. Priced at $59.99 and $79.99, respectively, the "Overload" edition is the only bundle to feature a digital collector's guide book and art book.

"Tyranny" will be released on Nov. 10 for Windows PC and MAC. Watch the trailer below:
