'Pokemon Sun and Moon' is an upcoming Nintendo 3DS game that will be released on Nov. 18.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" demo gameplay has unveiled a few interesting features that set it apart from the Nintendo 3DS game's earlier versions. Game developers have added several details and enhancements that included a new battle style and an impressive Alolan world.

The Pokemon Company and game developer Game Freak released its gameplay demo for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" that allowed players to experience some of the game's new features. Similar to previous versions of the popular Nintendo 3DS game franchise, gamers may find themselves engrossed with its vast Alolan region along with the myriad collection of Pokemon monsters.

One of the changes that game developers have incorporated in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" includes the removal of Hidden Machines (HM), according to a game demo review posted on Entertainment Weekly. HMs are critical items needed for a trainer to teach its Pokemon specific moves such as Cut, Fly, Surf and others. With the said feature's removal, players are no longer required to designate move slots for HM items.

Meanwhile, in-game battles will be easier for both newbies and avid "Pokemon" gamers. Navigation buttons have been added that contain helpful information such as a Pokemon monster's abilities, statistics and attack moves.

Players will see on-screen tips during battles to inform gamers of a Pokemon creature's "super effective" moves against is opponent. A similar message will also appear to highlight moves that may be negated by the other party.

Other enhancements unveiled during the game's demo involved the small yet noticeable changes that game developers made. Children and adult game characters are depicted more accurately with realistic height differences. Similar to human in-game characters, adjustments to the size of Pokemon monsters were also made to effectively portray the differences between cute and monstrous creatures.

In other news, Game Freak and The Pokemon Company are expected to release its latest batch of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" news on Oct. 27, according to Serebii. At this time, it is unclear if the upcoming announcement will feature the reveal of Pokemon evolution forms or other new gameplay elements.
