However, the Type: Null must first learn to trust its trainer and destroy its helmet before it can evolve. The helmet is a very heavy piece of equipment that reduces Type: Null's patent power and deters its agility, according to "Pokémon Sun and Moon" official website. As a result, there is need for Type: Null to destroy its helmet prior to evolving.

The CoroCoro leak as well explains why Type: Null is named in a unique manner. The Normal-type Synthetic Pokémon reportedly has a special item called Memory.

The item is very significant for it to activate the AR System Ability of the monster, possessing the ability to change into any of the 18 types. Memory is also important when Type: Null releases its attack called Multi Attack, which is capable of changing form as well.

The Pokémon Company initially unveiled limited information about Jangmo-o. The scaly Pokémon was believed to be a Dragon-type pocket monster with Bulletproof/soundproof capability. While it is relatively small, Jangmo-o was said never to back down in the presence of its opponents.

It was also revealed that the soundproof ability of Jangmo-o could block Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir's Hyper Voice. The latest CoroCoro leak hinted the arrival of the Mega Evolutions into the Alola region ahead of The Pokémon Company's confirmation through a recent teaser sneak peek.

New information about Jangmo-o concerns its evolutions. The CoroCoro magazine revealed that Jarango and Jararango are evolved forms of Jangmo-o. BulbaNewsNow pointed out via Twitter that this monster's evolutions are both Dragon-type and Fighting-type.

Grimer Alola form is another intriguing bit leaked by the Japanese magazine. It was previously translated that Alolan Grimer is Poison/dark-type.

Reddit user Dragon Fang described the modified appearance of the Alolan Grimer as having a yellow sludge body that is somehow inspired by water or leaked car coolant. Watch the sneak peek below for more information on Type: Null.
