FT Island's Lee Hong-Gi and actress Park Shin Hye showed off their close friendship in KBS's "Lee Hong-ki's Kiss The Radio." There, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter openly discussed his relationship with the latter.
Despite the busy schedule, "The Heirs" actress made sure to find time to join Lee in the premiere episode of the KBS radio show on Oct. 17, Monday. The latter introduced Park by stating that she is a South Korean actress, but to him, "she is a girl who is a friend. Nothing more, nothing less."
Park and Lee flaunted their close friendship by whispering to one another in the midst of the KBS radio show. It came after the FT Island member detailed how he asked the "Pinocchio" actress to appear on the show during the press conference for the KBS radio show, The Kpop Herald reported.
Speaking before a group of local reporters, Lee stated he asked for Park's help when he returned at home from his recent overseas holiday. In response, Park promised Lee that she would attend the said KBS radio show.
"It kind of felt like she was returning the favor after I sent her a food cart when she was filming her drama," Lee added. "Good thing I treated her so nicely first."
In early August, the Kpop idol sent a food truck to the filming set of the SBS drama "Doctors," All Kpop reported. Park shared his gratefulness to Lee by uploading a collage photo on her Instagram account.
In the first post, Park stood before the food truck, expressing gratitude toward Lee with an aegyo-filled pose. In the second one, the Hallyu star can be seen joyfully enjoying her meal as the rest of the cast and crew members lined up to enjoy some of the delectable dishes.
The two stars previously starred in SBS's "You're Beautiful" along with Jang Keun-Suk and CN Blue's Jung Yong-Hwa. Park and Lee took on the role of Go Mi-Nyeo/Gemma and Jeremy, respectively.
