Pokemon Go: Game not showing Poke Stops, gyms, Pokemon on map, more problems - here’s what players should do

Several Pokemon Go gamers are experiencing problems with the game after some latest updates. Here is what players should do.

Gamers are not able to play for extended periods of time without experiencing crashes. According to a Redditor, in the middle of gameplay, they can suddenly no longer navigate the map. Also, according to reports, Pokemon Go is not registering any touch at all.

The game will frequently not show anything on the map, whether it is Pokemon, gyms or Poke Stops. Occasionally, Pokemon themselves suddenly appear to turn invisible, with their graphics not showing up on the phone's screen.

Reports indicate that the only solution to this is to force restart Pokemon Go, after which most players have found that the app goes back to normal for sometime.

To force restart on iOS devices, players should tap the home button two times and after that they should swipe up on the app to close it. On Android devices, players should swipe up from the bottom of their screen, hit the circle icon, and when all the open apps show up on the screen, they should hit the X.

It is not known why this is occurring, but complaints about Pokemon Go freezing have started to pop up since the recent updates.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the nearby tracking feature is not releasing anytime soon. In August, the development team started testing a new version of the nearby tracking feature; however, it was only accessible to gamers residing in the San Francisco Bay Area.

According to reports, Niantic Labs is still testing a new kind of tracking that is geo-locked to San Francisco. At present, there is no estimated timeline to rolling it out wider.

Furthermore, the game has got new updates  0.41.4  and 1.11.4 on October 14 on Android and iOS devices, Nintendo News reported. The company has not declared what the updates will be changing but the changelog disclosed that small fixes have been put in place.

The newest update reportedly added new features such as the ability to take six creatures into the Pokemon gym at the same time and the capture bonus feature.

But according to some reports, Pokemon Go still had many bugs.

It is expected that the game will improve from the glitches and the absence of the tracking feature soon. However, some Pokemon Go players are not able to open the game.
